Beach School Bobcat Mural

Overview of Idea

Beach School is a Title 1 funded school and has an ugly 30' high retaining wall running 150' along the South side. This mural will mark the South entrance of the school. It will welcome students and give an identifiable presence to the neighborhood. Students will have a sense of pride for the school

idea specifics: what will the $500 fund?

The design and painting of this 10′ × 12′ mural will be done by volunteers. These funds will pay for any prep work needed on the retaining wall before painting, and all paint and painting equipment. Additionally, it will buy special paint to protect the mural from graffiti.
